43 – Tc – Technetium

Tc Technetium is quite radioactive. Pitchblende (an Uranium ore) is shown here, where spontaneous fission of U-238 creates tiny amounts of Technetium. Amount: 0.2 g Pitchblende, corresponding to 0.1 pg or 600 million atoms of Tc.
