Betreff:LispME

Hey, I been using LispMe since way back. I remember somebody in my Linux club in college showed it to me around ten years back... I think it was on a Palm Pro... I think I even sent you a patch or two, but I can't remember... I know I tried my hand at writing a VFS lib for it before you added one yourself... didn't get far, though. :D

Kind of sad it's over, but it's absolutely the right choice. I have a Treo and I just can't bear to write code for it any more. With PACE and NVFS (not to mention neglect) the platform's become such a twisted wreck, and of course even Palm is moving on now.

I'd be happy to treat you to a beer or something in appreciation of LispMe - 'course I'm not in Deutschland so I guess I'd just send money and encourage you to buy your own beer. :D How do you feel about Paypal? We can talk about it.

Betreff:Element collection

Very impressive collection, photos and descriptions. Congratulations.

You could get much larger samples of americium-241 (about 260 ng), and of its decay product, neptunium-237 (about 1 ng after a few years) in any home smoke detector!
Also, I think your calculation for astatine-218 is off by a factor of 10 - I calculate 14 atoms in my 2.6g sample of pure UO2 crystal. Pitchblende ore is about 50% U, so your 0.2g sample should have about 0.6 atoms of At.

I am very envious of your fluorine gas! It is the only element between 1 and 95 that I lack.
